INGLEWOOD TOWN BOARD.
[FROM OUll OWN CORRESPONDENT/) The Inglewood Town Board met on May 11th. Present: -Messrs H. Brown (Chairman), Carstens, Clongh, and Julian. Mr J. E. Buest was granted the lease of town section 41. Mr T. S. Weston applied for the Board's consent to the transfer of four sections from Mr H. Taylor to himself, also of one mention from Mr Rawlinson to himself. Granted. Mr W. H. Beadle wrote re metalling the road near his residence. Messrs Penpington and Ilenwood were granted permission t» build a verandah. Mr Nichols applied for the use of tha Town Hall for the Football Club on reduced terms. Application not entertained. The County Council agreed to metal the Mountain Road near Fromm'a buildings. The collector's report was read, showing amount collected £12, amount deposited in Bank £12. Mr Priest attendod and asked if the Hospital Reserve could be let. The Chairman replied that nothing had been done, bub they could not be let without being advertised. Amounts amounting to £6 18s were passed for payment.
