MIMI RACING CLUB'S WEIGHTS.

The followiug weights have been declared for the Mmii Racing Club's Meeting to be held on May 25 :—: — Hurdles. — iEnone, 11.2; Haekopa, Nirarod, 9. Cup.— The Friar, 8.12 : Sydney, 8.10 ; Cooee, 8.4 ; Muscatel, 8.0 ; Kaitake, 7.4 ; Lady Helena, Viva, 7.3 : Tasmania, 6.10 ; Sunray, 6.7 ; Lottie, 6.7. Flying.— The Friar, 9.1 ; Sydney, 8.13; Waylay, 8 12 ; Cooee, Gooleen, 8.2 ; Bofc Fly, 8.1 ; Muscatel, ?.10 ; Kaitaki, Master ' Maboi, 7.7 ; Sunray, Lady Holena, 7.5 ; Viva, 7.0 ; Lottie, iva, 6.12 ; Coolie, 6.7. Several town residents left by train this morning to attend the Stratford Trotting Meotiug, the surplus iroin which will go to the Brunnerton Relief Fund. The racing dispute between Messrs Douglas and Quinlivan (says " Caller Ou " in the Napier Telegraph of Saturday lost), is likely to cost someone a pretty penny. Tho arbitrators, Messrs F. Bee and Cohen, have now been sitting four days, and the hearing will in all probability las^ well into next week. A vast amount of evidence has been taken, principally in respect to disputed accounts between the parties in regard to payments stated to have been made by Quinlivan for tho horses Brooklet and The Brook. These two were seized by Mr Douglas when the others were taken away, the reason assigned for the seizure being that Quinlivan had neglected the horses, but tho latter, on the other hand, denies this statement, so I gather.
