There will be a number of meetings held on Eastor Monday, the most important of which will be held in Auckland and Canterbury. The meeting nearest homo will be Patea, at which several of the local horseswill compete. There are six left in the Hurdle race which should be a good thing for Docility, with Tell Tale next best- Places in the Flying Handicap should be filled by Sydney, Kanaka, and Errand Boy- In the Easter Handicap Yoltigeur, Fish Oh, and Knaka should fill places. Kanaka. S v< lnev. - Navigator read a good irio for places ;n; n the autumn Handicap ; St. Vincent or Marama should account for the Catchweight race; On Guard the Farmers Plate. FEILDING MEETING. This will bo started on Easter Monday, and continued on Tuesday. Anticipations: —Flying.— Sedgobrook, Flying Shot, Umslopagaas. Handicap Hurdles : Napoleon, Rangipai, Auroa. Hack Hurdles: Rossall, Satellite, Steel King. Feilding Handicap : Aio, Ngatuere, Pom Pom. Hack Flat : Sweet Sleep, First Return, Opai. Winter Oats Handicap : Westmere, Lotion, Sedgebrook. Hack Flying : Quadratic, Reality, Secrecy. CANTERBURY MEETING. The meeting will be held on Monday and Tuesday. There are twenty-one acceptances in the Great Eastern Handicap, seven furlongs. Kings Bowman, Barmby, i Solitaire read a good trio In the Great Autumn Handicap, 1£ miles, there is also a large and choice field . Spindrift or S tracen appears bo have fche best show on piper. Thirteen remain in the rich Challenge Stakes, five being owned by Mr G. G. Stead. Bombshell, Barmby, Musketry might fill the places. The other cventß in the programme have filled well. AUCKLAND MEETING. This fixture will be held on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. In the Easter Handicay, Anita, Aconc, and Fabulist mipht fill plncss : and Kildare or Bombardiersh'ould account for the Steeplechase on the second day.
