Feilding, November 29."— The first day's races of tho Feilding Racing Club's Spring meeting was held to-day. ' .The weather is cloudy but fine, and tha attendance very fair. Results :—: — -
Flying.— Moonralter, 1 ; Umslopogaa», 2 ; Ben Varrey, 3. Ten started. A very close finish, Umslopogaas being'last away. Saywell and James' starting machine was used. Dividond, £7. Hurdles,- Dante, 1 ; Lord Vivian, 2 ; Auroa, 3. Spreydon and Narrate also started. Won by two lengths. Time, 4min 18 2-sch sees. Dividend, £1 18s. Hack Hurdles.— Nat, 1 ; Barman, 2 ; Revenue, 3. Seven started. Won easily. Dividend, £7 6s.
St. Andrew's Handicap.— Leda, 1 ; Brooklet, 2 ; Westmere, 3. Also started : Lorelei, Monte Carlo, Solitare, Queenaborough, Lotion, and Roll Call. Won by half-a-lengfcb.
