LIVELY SCENE IN PRESBYTERIAN ASSEMBLY IN SYDNEY.
♦ . A MINISTER CALLS ANOTHER A LIAR. [rEU PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Sydney, March 13.— A scene occurred at to-day's session of the Presbyterian Assembly, and caused a great commotion. A long standing dispute, between two rival churches in one of the suburbs, came before the Assembly, and the supporter of one section made an insinuation against the minister of the other Church. The Minister, who considered himself aggrieved, marched up the aisle to the moderator's chair, and crying out " It's a lying scandal ;" and then defied the assembly. Eventually, however, the trouble was amicably settled, and the matter dropped.
