RIOTS AT SARATOR. St. Petersburg, January 13. ■ "■ A hundred Jews were wounded in the riots, at Sarator, and two thousand families were redaced to beggary. . PACIFIC INTENTION TOWARDS' GERMANY. The retirement of General Gourko from the Governorship of Warsaw is considered ,as an indication of pacific intentions towards Germany. . ' BRITISH ARMY IN EGYPT.' Cairo, January, 13. The British army of occupation will parade in front of Abdin Palace, at Cairo, for the purpose of saluting Khedive Abbas on his arrival. CHINESE STEAMER SUNK. Hongkong, January 12. The steamer Nanchow sank in the China Sea. Four hundred of those on board were drowned. RAILWAY ACCIDENT. New York, January 12. A fearful railway accident is reported from Crawfordville, in the State of Indiana. A train became derailed and fell over an embankment fifty feet deep, and was nearly smashed to pieces. Two passengers were killed outright and 38 badly hurt, several fatally. One car rolled over thrice, and eventually caught fire, but the passengers managed to oscape. The passengers on the train included three theatrical companies, and one actress was among those killed.
