TB ARO RAILWAY. . Wellington, December 7. Tenders are to be called in a few days for the Te Aro Railway extension. CHANGES IN ENGINEERS' DEPARTMENT. MrR. W. Holmes, Resident Engineer, Wellington, is to take charge of the >vorks at the south end of the Northern Trunk Railway, exchanging places with Mr G. L. Cook, now stationed at Palmerston North. The Palmerston North office is to he closed, the new Engineer having his head-quarters at Hunterville. . Mr Gerald Fitzgerald, Resident Engineer at Westport, is being transferred to Auckland as assistant to Mr Vickerman, the present Resident Engineer there.
