"" ' ' (Limited) REPORT. On Friday, the 15th instant, by instructions from Mr E. Bayly, Pihama, who ia giving up dairying we held a clearing sale at the factory of his dairy stock, &c, amidst a large attendance of buyers. The cows, numbering nearly two hundred, were a choice lot, and elic ted keen competition from buyers, prices for the best of them running as high as' £6 15s ; the others making £3 5s to £5 2s 6d. Hacks made up to £12 ; two expresses £19 each ; and other articles sold, proportionately well. We held our fortnightly stock sale in the Glower Road yards on Wednesday, the 20th instant. The yards were well filled with both cattle and sheep, and these being of good quality caused spirited bidding from the numerous purchasers attending the 6ale, so that_nearly every line sold under the hammer at prices greatly in favour- or! the vendors. -We quote prices as ■ follows t-^-Fat' bullockt £5 sg'to £5 Is»s, 3 to 4;year-old forward bullot-ks £4 2s to £4 18s 6d, 2-year-old steers £2 10a to :£2128, lKniontlM steers M 17s 6d \o £2 Is, yearling steers £1 7s to £1 9s 6d, fat "cows £3 4s to £3 15s, empty cows £2 11s to £2 18s, spriugerd £2 19s to £3 3s 6rl,' ,caiveß 17s.
