SPORTING
BELL BLOCK RACES. The revival of the annual race meeting at Bell Block promises to be crowned with success, inasmuch as so far everything has been favorable to the Club. The nominations are big, the acceptances ditto, and all arrangements up to date have been carried out without a hitch. The meeting will take place on the property of Mr S. Rutdle, which is situated on the road to Waitara, just beyond the Bell Block village. Tho course is an excellent one, and some good racing should be witnessed on Monday. The public will be able to reach the course and return t at a cheap rate, as the carriers in town have, it is understood,- decide! to run at a very reasonable return fare. The weather is now «, the great desideratum, and should it prove on Monday next like what we are getting now there can be no doubt of the success of the meeting as regards the attendance of the public. ,
