SUPREME COURT. — Criminal Sittings.
'L'FEIS DAY. Wednesday, April 22. — Before His Honor, Justice E.T. Conolly. ALLEGED INDECENT ASSAULT. John Thomas Coritin, a youth about jl6 years of age, was charged ■ with i indecently assaulting Evelyn Alice Herbert, at Kent Road, on March 25. The case was heard on Saturday last, when the jury disagreed and were discharged. Mr Standish appeared for the Crown ; accused was not represented by counsel. The following jury was empanelled: — ' H. J. Turner, J. Gopcstake, W. T. Small, H, Henderson, E. Perry. E. Taylor, G. A, Adlam, G. Cliff, J. Cole, R. Hunt, D.Todd, 11. F. Lye. G' Cliff was chosen foreman The same evidence was given which was reported in Saturday's issue, and the accused also made the same statement. Tho jury had not agreed when wo went to press.
