SALK OP MIDDLE PARK STUD. Christchurch, April 22. The Middle Park Stud was sold yesterday. The sale was a success. The 45 animals sold realised 5715 guineas, but as the foals by their mothers' side were sold separately the average is very much better. Messrs Donald Wallace and A. R. Blackwood, two well-known Australians, were represented, while Messrs S. H. Gollan. J. D. Ormond, Philson (representing an Auckland buyer), C-t. G. Stead, and R. Allan, were the chief purchasers. The yearling colt by St. George— Fair Nell, was purchased by Mr Allan, of Timaru, who staved off Messrs Gollan and Stead at 550 guineas.
