A MAJORITY REVERSED. | PER PRESS Af-SOCIATION.] , Rekfton, December 10. — The pall was known at 11 o'clock last night. The votes recorded were 2250, informal 29. The total for tach candidate was — Reeve J , 1110 ; Drake 1111. After a scrutiny seven and nine were deducted respectively, leaving— Reeves, 1103 ; Drake, 1102. . POLLING DELAYED BY THE WEATHER. Invekcakgill, December 10. — The steamer Despatch left Rivevton yesterday for Coal Island, one of the polling places in Wallace district. It was unable to go sooner, owing to bad weather. The poll is to be taken to-day, but there are only a few votes, and Mclntosh has a majority of 163. An uncertainty prevails as to the validity of the poll, seeing it was not taken the statutory date.
