DR. KOOH INOCULATED HIMSELF. Berlin, November 17. Dr Koch is ill, having been inoculated with lymph, and it is feared that tuberculosis has set in. Dr Libberts, of Berlin, 13 selling a consumptive lymph, the component parts of which are not revealed. It is claimed that it kills the tubercle tissue and not the baccili, and that the former is afterwards removed by a surgical operation. BUENOS AYRB3 WATERWORKS. Buexos Ayres, November 17. The Government of the Argentine Republic has released Messrs Barring Bros., of London, from their engagements to provide the sum of £6,000,000 for the construction of the Buenos Ayres waterworks. THE EXECUTION OF BIROHALr.. Ottawa, November 17. The sentence of death passed on Birchall for the mnrder of an English tourist named Benwell was carried out on Friday. A bungle was made of the execution, and it was fully six minutes before the condemned man was strangled. The body was interred Tsithin the gaol walls.
