[FROM OIM OWN OJBUEbPONDICNT.] TOWN BOARD. ALvkuii 27. — A special meeting of the Ingle wood Town Board was held in the Board's oilice on Monday. Present : Messrs J. 0. Paach (Chairman), T. Drake junr., G. S. Kennedy, W. 11. Franklyn, and U. W. Marsh. One tender that of D. Todd £9 18s for work required to be done in Kclly-strcct was accepted. The time of tenders being received for cleaning drains was cxleuded until 7 p.m. on Saturday next. Only one tender being received for lot one, section part 81, Moa, it was not accepte <, the time for receiving teuders was extended until Saturday next. A letter -n as read from Mill. B. Curtis, re old slaughter yard. — The letter was allowed to lie on the table until the next monthly meeting of the Board. — The Collector was instructed to obtain the names of owners of dogs who have not paid their dog tax up to their dale. — A letter was read from Mr N. King re his cattle sale yard at Ingewoo.d. — Mr Broadj more applied to have his name j taken off the Town Board rate roll--he having disposed of his house and section in the town of Ingicwood. — A letter was received from Mr J. Paul, requesting the Inglewood Town Board to proclaim a holiday on Tuesday, April 1. The request will be granted. — A letter was read from Mr G. Curtis re some Jogs and other rubbish which required removing in Moa-stroet — Mr 0. M. Curtis applied to have the survey standard put in its proper position. The clerk was instructed to write to the proper authority to have it properly fixed. — Mr 11. Steven, the clerk, asked permission to be absent from tho next ordinary meeting of the Board. The request was granted, this being the first time of his asking such leave.
