LARGE FIRE AT GREYMOUTH.

« SEVERAL HOUSES DESTROYED. Greymouth, November 27. — By a fire this morning in Boundary-street several houses ■were destroyed, but the damage was confined on one side by the Aryus office, and on the other by Hannah's boot shop. The f oilowing buildings were destroyed : — Bisch's jeweller and watchmaker's shop ; Butler's Commercial Hotel, a twostorey building; North's fancy goods store; Heley'tJ drapery; Dom's, bootmaker; Zachariah's, pawnbroker and jeweller; Bremble\s, tinsmith ; and Thos. Garth's, tobacconist. Very little was saved from any place, and most of them lost all. The Commercial Hotel was insured for £600, and the furniture for £300. The other insurances have not yet been ascertained.
