Sir, — As a private member of the Chamber of Couomeroe I mast suy that I am very much Burprißect tbnt the Committee should decide upon a question of charge o£ Bank holidoy, subject to Banks agreeing, without first consulting a general meeting. A matter of inch great interest, and cmc upon which there is »ure to be a_ great diversity of opinion, should, I think, be freely discussed before taking any action.
