The following are the conditions :—: — Mr. Hbnbt Wkston, proprietor of the Tabanaki Hebald and The Budget, will give a prize of £5 5s for tbe best sample of WOOD TAB produced from native timbers growing in the Counties of Taranaki, Oiifton, or Hawera, the quantities exhibited to consist of not less than thirty gallons, in a cask of local manufacture. Each exhibit to be accompanied by a clear description of the process adopted in its manufacture, and estimate of cost of prodactioa. Five gallons of tbe prize exhibit to be available for analysis ard trade tests. Mb. F. P. Cobkill will give a prize of £5 5s for the best sample of f OTASH, produced from native timbers growing in the Conntieß of Taranaki, Clifton, or Hawera, the quantity exhibited to consist of not less than one hundredweight, put up in packages of local manufacture.
