O'BRIEN OUT ON BAIL.
[BEUTEB'S OOPXBIGHT TBII/EGRAMS.J London, September 25.~Shortly after his release from prison on bail O'Brien, who was closely watched by the authorities, succeeded by a series of elaborate ruses in evading the police, and at onoe proceeded to address a meeting of the National League which the Government had proclaimed, but whioh took place outside Mitchelltown. In his speoch O'Brien defied the Government. Dr. Tanner, M.P. for County Cork (Mid.), addressed a meeting of Nationalists yesterday. At Fermoy (County Cork), in endeavouring to disperse a gathering, a severe conflict look place between the polioa and the people, the former freely using batons. Fifteen of the crowd were severely injured. ' The mob retaliated stoning the police.
