The total number of votes polled on Monday for the New Plymouth Electorate was 1040, but to this must be added 16 informal ones, thus making the total aotually recorded as 1056.

The Inglewood oßi9eo Ri9e Volunteers will parade for inspection on Saturday next. They will also muster on October 29tb, at 6 p.m. The Taranaki Rifle Volunteers will parade for inspection and muster on October 26th and 27th at 7 p.m. As electricity is superior to gas, so is Crook's American Dried Yeast superior to all baking powders.
