PRESENTATION TO MR. AND MRS. A. DREW.

At the conclusion o£ the Recital in St. Mnry's Church, on Monday evening, Mr. Webster, on behalf of the Choir, presented the following address to Mr. and Mrs. A« Drew: —

" Wo, Iho members of tho Choir of St. Mary's Church, dtslro, on your leaving the district, to express our sincere regret that circua.Btanccs should have occurred necessitating the resignation of your position amongßt us, and the termination of the cordinl relations which hive existed between you. and the choir during the seven years in which you have so efficiently held tho posts of organist and leader.

"We would also express our' appreciation of Mrß. Drew's valuable services as a leader, and our sense' of tho benefis to be derived from having in thut position a lady so thoroughly competent to perform its duties, and ono who, by her regularity in attendance at the services and weekly practices, his shown an excellent example to the members.

" Wo hope thut health, happiness, md prosperity may attend } ou and j our family in your new home, and nssure you that we shall retain pleasant recollections of the many evenings pnesed under your conductorship, find gratefully remember Ihe benefits we have derived fro v your instruction. — Si-pteiiiber 12, 188(5." Mr. Druw responded in feeling terms. The address is to be engrossed by Mr. 11. Cald well, of the Survey Office.
