There is a better fe' lieg in the sharemarket, and prices generally show an upward tendency. Bank of New Zealand shares ar.) held for £20, with myers a little under. Colonials have been sold at 41s 6d. Jn Insurance scares, South British have beei in demand, owing probably to the favoinble leport of the Southern delegate appointed to make an investigation of the Company securities. In local etocke, it is reported lint a good parcel of Sash and Door shares have changed hands priva'ely at 20s. Mo;c/ has been pl&cpd at 8 per cent, on gooi security. New Plymouth, 10th.
