Tho following are the latest particulars from London respecting the elections: — Loxdox, July 14. — Mr. Alexander McArthur, Liberal, who represented Leicester in the last Parliament, has been elected by a very small majority for the Buoklose division of Yorkshire (East Hiding). London, July 15. — Mr. Gladstone has arrived iv Loudou. Supporter of Mr. Gladstone has botn returned for tho Otley division of tho West Hiding of Yorkshire, represented in tho last Parliament by Sir Andrew Fairbairu (Liberal). Mr. John Bright met his constituents j for tho purpose of returning thanks for his election, and Avas received with a perfect ovatiou. Iv the course of an address which ho delivered, ho denounced Mr. Gladstone for his want of candour iv concealing his opinions on tho question of Home Rulo from tho mombers of his party until the j measuro was actually introduced in the House of Commons. The opposition of Mr. John Bright to tho Homo Eulo policy of Mr. Gladstone has seriously dauiagod the latter iv connection with tho present election campaign. In many cases the defeat of candidates presenting themsolves as supporters of Mr. Gladstone is ascribed to this cause. Tho Marquis of Ilartiugton and Sir Michael Hicks -Beach havo made speeches which indicate that tho Irish National League will bo suppressed. A meeting of the Cabiuot will bo hold on Saturday, tho 17th July.
