[FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Junk 13. — Tho s.s. Stiffa loft Waitara for Onehunga lnst Saturday night with a full cargo of tinned meat, &c. After steaming for some miles the heavy weather compelled her to return (o Waitara on Sunday morning, where she remained till last night, when she took her departure for Onehunga. Tke B.s. Gairloch arrived at Waitnra on Friday last, at 1.30 p.m. She discharged her cargo, loaded again with a full cnnr.o of livo slock, nn 1 le£tforOuehungaat3 30 p in., tho sa-no tide, it beine; deud neaps. The b.s. St. Kildii, Captain Black, from Greymouth, is expected on Wednesday next, with a full cargo o£ coal. After discharging she will load with a fall cargo of cattle. Mr. Baker, of Foxton, has arrived with two entire?, which are to travel the district, particulars o£ which he will no doubt announce shortly through your columns. Captain Edwin telegraphed at 12.26 p.m. to-day: — Wind will blow from between cast and north and north-west. Glass further fall, and very heavy rain and heavy sea, within six hours,
