LATER INTELLIGENCE.
[PER UNITED PIUSB3 ASSOCIATION.] Inspector Pardy, with tho police interpreter and a couplo of constables, visited Werewero on Sunday. Three to four hundred nativo visitors were present. A new meetiug houso waBJUBt being opened, and the feast was about to commence when tho party arrived. Titokowaru and Te Whetu were present. The party wore invited to tako part in the feast, and Inspector Pardy wnß placed ut tho head of tho principal table, Titokowaru being on the right hand, and the other European visitors supporting him. There was no speech-making, but the Inspector had a private interview with To Whetu, who is ono or Te Whiti's right hand men. Tho result has not transpired, but certainly no sullenness or ill-feeling was apparent amongst tho natives at Werewere. Tho fonst will not conclude till to-night. Tho natives are marching down towards Paten, and tho police will keep on the alert until they have past Mokoia and Manutahi.
