GOVERNMENT GAZETTE NOTICES.
The Government Gazette contains a proclamation constituting the County of Mackenzie out of part of Geraldine County. E. T. Mason is gazetted as caretaker in the Registrar-General's Office. The following appointments of Deputy-Sheriffs are made: — Geo. W. Basley, Auckland ; Geo. Walter Cullen, Hawke's Bay; Win. Lupton Dean, Patea; Wm. Pattison James, Wellington; James Hugh Webb Bowen, Nelson; Ernest Chas. Kelling, Westland North; Alfred Fred Fitzroy Etheridge, Central Westland; Thos. Ilowley, Timaru; Arthur David Harvey, Otago; John Turnbull, Southland. J. B. Grey has been appointed AssistantDraughtsman in the Survey Department; Edward Mitchelson has been appointed a member of the Auckland Waste Land Board.
