Melhourne, October 4. The Government has decided to dispense with the services of Mr. T. Bolfam, Inspector-General of the Education Department, who was the petitioner in a recent divorce case in which the jury ■were unable to agree upon a verdict. It is probable that Mr. Bollain will receive a pension. Sydney, October 4. Bailed (this afternoon) : The H.M.S. City of Sydney, for San Francisco, via Auckland. She takes £70,000 specie from this port.
