Afire broke out shortly after ten o'clock last night in Belcher's block of shops, Karangahape Eoad, occupied by Davis, Eerder, and Fenton, grocers. The buildings wero all destroyed, and were insured in the New Zealand Office for £200. The fire was confined to the block in which it originated. Mrs. ftyan was insured for £100 in the National ; and adjoining two-story house also in the same.
