Melboubne, June 15. In the Legislative Assembly this evening Sir B. O'Loughlin stated that the Government had resolved to treat the motion introduced by Francis that the proposed remission of taxation was inconvenient and undesirable, as one of want of confidence. The Premier further stated that the Government had resolved to modify the proposal for remission of taxation, set forth iv Budget speech before Mr. Francis' motion was tabled. The House adiouraed to Tuesday next.
