Adelaide, June 14. Overland telegraph line to Port Darwin is interrupted. Melbourne, June 14. Harper has been elected a member of the Assembly for East Bourke via Ramsay, deceased. It is announced that the Peninsula and Oriental Company has inaugurated a service between Antwerp and Australia. The first steamer to leave the former place will be the Sutlej. Sailed (this afternoon) : Union Co.'s steamer Rotorua, for the Bluff. New Zealand oats have advanced about Id. per bushel daring the week, and are now quoted at 4s. Id. to 4s. 3d. for feeding, and 4s. 3d. to 4s. 4d. for milling sorts. In the Legislative Assembly to-day the Commissioner for Trade and Customs stated that the Government did not intend to allow a drawback upon barley imported for malting.
