GREEK FRONTIER QUESTION.

Athens, February 7. A more moderates feeling prevails among- all classes in Greece in regard to the frontier question ; and there soems every probability that the Turkish and Greek difficnlty will receive a peacefal settlement. The boy was riding a horse to Freeman's Bay Beach, when, on approaching the drain opposite the new gasometer, the horso suddenly leaped the drain, and the boy was thrown with considerable force to the ground. The Native Lands Court, presided over by Judgos O'Brien and Heaphy, has refused an application to vest the freehold of the Ponawa block (about 20,000 acres) in three trustees instead ot the fifty or sixty native owners who had signed a trust deed to the three trustees named. On the application of Mr. Rees, the case has been stated for the Supreme Court, and Mr. Reea baa left for Wellington, with the view of getting the points at issue speedily decided, as a number of the Lady Jocelyn's Belfast immigrants aro anxious to settle on tho block.
