NATIVE DISTURBANCE AT THE UPPER THAMES.

LATEST PAKTICULARS.

[by telegraph.]

Auckland, September' C— The hews from Pareora states that Mr. Wilkinson has returned from a visit to the Pakaros 'settlement. Ho left Hneha behind. The Ngatihako tribe agreed to come to a meeting at Pareora, but Pakara and Wepiha still adhere to what they said, and refuse to give themselves up to the Europeans. Mr. Wilkinson found them armed at tho settlement, with about twenty unarmed, tho latter from Waitakaru. Should the Council decide that the culprits have done wrong it will still be a question as to who is to take them prisoners.
