LAND BOARD.
The Board held its regular meeting on Tuesday, the Chief Commission ev presiding. Present: Messrs. Crompton, Kelly, Standish, and Syme.
Education Reserve. — Mr. Kelly presented tlio report of tho Oomniissioncrs appointed to confer with the Education Commissioners and state the allotments of land that had been mUe. He moved "That the report of the Commissioners on the New Plymouth Higii School Reserves ba approved of, aud recommended to the Government to be given effect to." — The Liotion was seconded by Mr. Syme, and carried.
County Hescrres. — The County Engineer asked to have allotment 235, Moa District, and allotment 10, Monganui District, set aside as gravel reserves. — Mr. Kelly moved " That the Board recommend that a portion of allotment 2G3 and 238, Moa District, be set apart as gravel reserves." — Carried.
Boundary Defined. — Mr. H. Heal asking the Board to define the boundary of his property, Moa Block, the Board declined to entertain the application.
Transfer. — Mr. Hollenbach applied to transfer sections 217 and 248, Moa Block. — Consideration was deferred, and the Board adjourned.
