WELLINGTON.

/ The adjourned meeting of the Titanic Steel ' and Iron Sand Company wt»s held ou Thursday nijrht. The shareholders from tho other Provinces were not represented, but several resolutions from Dunedin and Tarannki were read and discussed. The Chairman pointed out with reference to the supposed allotment of five hundred shares to Mr. E. M. Smith, that there would bo no such allocation unless the patent showed they could work the sand profitably, and he was certain that* nlthough the patent might be successful practically, it could not possibly be so financially, and there neod be no apprehension of any claim being mndo upon the Company respecting those five hundred shares. The result of the meeting was that the Directors were empowered to put the Company's furnace in blast with as little delay as possible.
