(ANGLO-AUSTRALIAN PRESS TELEGRAM AGENCY.) London, April 13. — The remains of the late Dr. Livingstone have arrived at Southampton. The mail steamship ' Pera' left Galle on the 12th instant, for Australia. The mails by the steamer 'Bangalore,' which left Melbourne on the 26th February, were delivered to-day, via Brindisi. Spain. — Don Carlos has rejected the pro* positions submitted to him by Marshal Serrano, with a view of procuring a settlement of the differences between the Carlieta and Republicans, and thereby terminating the disastrous civil war in Spain. France.— The French Press bas been for* bidden by the Government from attacking the septennate principle involved in the extension of the President's powers. Several Legitimist and Buonnpartist organs have been warned for denying the irrevocability of the decision arrived at by the National Assembly,
