ROAD DISTRICTS.

No. 1 District. — Bounded by the sea beaoh from the Hangatahau to the Tiraaru, thenoe by the said stream to the northern boundary of tho South Main Trunk Road District, thence by the said district to the Han ga tabu a River, and thence by the said river to the sea. No. 2 District. — Bounded towards the north by the South Main Trunk Eoad District from the Hangatahna to the east corner of allotment No. 98, in the Oaknra District ; thence by the exterior boundaries of the Oakura and Tataraimaka Districts in a southerly and westerly direction to the Hangatahua "River, and from thence by the said river to the first mentioned point. No. 3 District. — Bonnded towards tho north by the South Main Trunk Road District from the Wairan Road to the Paritntn line, thenoe by the said line to tho south-east corner of allotment No. 54, Omata District ; thence by the sonth boundary of the said section to the Barrett Road, thence by the east side of the said road to the Frankley Road, thence by the last mentioned road to the north-east corner of allotment No. 91, thence by the north boundary of the said allotment to the Nakara steam, thence by the said steam and a line to the south-east corner of allotment No. 104, thence by the south boundary of the said allotment to the north-west corner of allotment No. 94, thence by the east boundary of allotment No. 105 to the south-west corner of allotment No. 95a, thence by the south boundary of tho last mentioned allotment to the north-west corner of allotment 99, thence by the east and south boundary of allotment No. 120 to the Hnrford Road, thence by the east side of the said road to the Okurnknru line, thence by the said line to allotment No. 164 in the Oakura District, and from thence by the exterior boundary of the , said dißtrict to the Wairau Eoad. '

No. -1 District. — Bounded towards the north by the South Main Trnnk Road District and the Town of New Plymouth to Govor-streot ; thenoe in a straight line along the eastern bouudarios of allotments Nog. 34, 48, C 3, 75, 488, to the Henni River ; thence by the said river to theOkurukuru line, thence by the said line to tho Hurford Road, and from thence by No 3 Road District to the point first mentioned, No. 5 District. —Bounded towards the -north by the town of Now Plymouth and the North Mnin Trunk Road District ; thenoe by the YVaiwakaiuo, Maugoroi, Mangnkarowarowa Rivers to tho Okuruknru line ; thenoe by the said lino to Honoi River; and thence by No. 4 Ro&d District to the Town of New Plymouth, exclusive of the Avenue Road from its junction with the Mangorei Road to the Maugoroi River. No.C District. — Bounded by the Waiwakaiho River from its junction with the Mangorei River to the Junction Road ; thenoe by the north sido of the said Road to tho Mangoraka River ; thence by the said River to the Taranaki lino ; thenco by the said lino to tho Mangakarewarewa River ; thonce by the said river to tho Mangorei ; and from thenco by the last named rivor to its junction with the Waiwakaiho ; also to maintain the Avenue Road from the Mangorei Rivor to its junction with the Mangorei Road. No. 7 District.— Bonnded towards tho north by the North Main Trunk Road from the Waiwakaiho River to the south-west corner of allotment No. 59, tho Una Distriot; thence in a straight line to tho north-west cornor of allotment No. 80 ; thence by tho south boundary of the said allotment to tho Mangoraka River ; thenco by tho said river to the junction : and thonce by Nos. 5 and G Road Districts to the point first montioncd. No. 8 District. — Bounded towards the north by the North Main Trunk Road District from No. 7 Road District to the Tarnrutangi line ; thence by the Tarnrutangi line to the Waingona Rivor j thence by the said river to tho Taranaki line ; thence by the said line to the Mangoraka River ; and from thence by No. 7 Road Distriot to the point Grst mentioned. No 9 District. — Bounded towards the north by the North Main Trunk Road Distriot from No. 8 Road District to the Waitara River ; thence by the said river and the Manganui River to the south corner of allotment No. 182, Huirangi District ; thenco in a straight Hue to the Tarurufcangi line at the south-west corner of allotment No. 201 ; and from thence by No. 8 Road Distriot to the point first mentioned. No. 10 District.— Bounded by the sea beach from the mouth of the Waitara River to the north-east corner of Allotment No. 37, Waitara District east ; thence in a straight line to the east corner of allotment No. 79, Tikorangi District ; ' thenoe by the unsurveyed lands to the Waitara ; and thenoe by the said river to the sea, excepting the portion of the Town of Raleigh included. No. 11 District. — Urenni District. No 12 District. — Pokearulie Distriot. No. 13 District. — Bounded towards the west by the Waingongoro River, towards the north by the northern boundary of the confiscated land, towards the east by the river known as the Ingahapa and also as the Manawapoo River, and towards the sonth by the sea coast. No. 14 District.— Bounded towards the west by the river known as the logahapa and also the Manawapou River, towards the north by the northern boundary of the confiscated land, towards the east by the Patea River, and towards tbe sonth by the sea coast. No. 15 District. — Bounded towards the west by tho Patea Rivor, towards the north by tho northern boundary of tho confiscated land, towards tho east by the boundary line of tho Province, and towards the south by tho sea coast.
