BERLIN, Aug. 17. “Wc shall be in office a long time,” .-.aid Captain von Dapen, in an interview Avlxen replying to a. question whether the Oovei'nmcnt would be in power at Christmas. He expressed the opinion that the parties must realise there would be no Government to replace the present one. Captain Dapen maintained that Herr Hitler had undoubtedly demanded full powers, but had been forced lo do so by the impatience of his followers. Captain Dapen added; “I do not believe Hie Nazis will rcsoi’t to illegalities to obtain their ends. Herr Hitler has given assurances in that respect, and I see no reason to disbelieve him. The Government would not hesitate to promptly suppress a revolt. As Hie mutter stands, Germany is again united more closely than ever behind President Ilindenburg.
