MALPRACTICE ON HORSE
RACEHORSE DOPED. RECOVERS UNDER TREATMENT I MELBOURNE, August 19. The racehorse Yilmist, which was engaged in two events at Verrlbco races yesterday, was found lying in a box in agony, the victim of a doping plot. Beside the animal was a bundle of grass, which was not placed there by the trainer, Fishwick. A veterinary surgeon found that the horse displayed symptoms of alkaloid posouing, hirt owing to skilful administration of another preparation which had dried up the saliva a swab could not he taken. The horse recovered rapidly after being oiven an alkaloid antidote.
