POISON AM) DISTEMPER TAKE TOLL CRUEL LAYING OF POISONED MEAT There appears to be an outbreak of clog poisoning in Tcmuka at present. Some time ago several clogs were reported to have been poisoned, and within tiie last week a further number have fallen victims, as the result of having eaten poisoned meat. It was stated that several cats also have died in similar circumstance’s. In some cases the meat used has been analysed. The dogs arc having a bad time of it at present, and the majority of those which are not. poisoned are suffering from distemper.
