NEWS AND NOTES (From Our Correspondent) W.E.A. Aicets At tho weekly meeting of the Peel Forfest branch of the Workers’ Educational Association held on Wednesday evening, a play, “Major Barbara,” by Shan, was read and discussed. There was a good attendance, Mr P. Scott acted as leader. Tlie Weather After a week or nor’-westry weather, a cold change took place last Friday, when heavy rain set in from the south. Rain fell over the week-end, with a slight fall of snow on the hills. The weather cleared on Monday, and on Tuesday morning a frost of 10 degrees was experienced.
