WINCHESTER.
SUNDAY SCHOOL PICNIC. The annual picnic in connection with St. John’s Sunday School was held in the Ashburton Domain on Thursday. About SO left Winchester by the first train, and the outing proved a most enjoyable one. The ladies were accorded a special vote of thanks for their share of the work. After Punch, a committee comprising the Vicar (the Rev. G. Nelham AVatson), Messrs L. H. Orbell. AV. Pearce, R. E. Smith, and A. Kimber, ran several events for the children.
