TUG-OF-WAR.
MEETING OF COMMITTEE. ft The,Druids’ Tug-o’-War committee met last evening in the Bauds’ Hall, Temnka, Bro; J. Fisher presiding. A ladies’ committee was appointed to assist , at the various stalls, and the secretary was instructed to write to the Minister of Internal Affairs for permission to hold an art union. It was decided to organise' a concert party, and run .refreshment and ice cream stalls at the tournament. An apology was received from Bro. G. Bierce. Mr B. Douglas ’ was appointed assistant secretary, and a hearty- vote of thanks was accorded the ladies for attending.
