P ATT ISON—A SHBY."

A quiet but pretty wedding wan solemnised. recently at “Nontaft,” Arundel, tbe residence of Mr and Mrs W. I. Ashby, when their second daughter, Edith Henrietta, was married to Joseph McClure Pattison, youngest son of Mr M. B. Pattison and the late Mrs Pattison, of Antrim, Ulster, Ireland'. The officiating minister was the Rev. M. Anderson of Orari. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of white crepe de , chine with side panels trimmed with silver lace au4 an embroidered bridal veil. Her bouquet was of white lilies and asparagus fern. Miss Rosa Ashby, sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid, her frock being of shell pink crepe de chine. She wore a posy in her- hair, and carried a bouquet of sweet peaa and asparagus fern. Mr J. Logan acted as best man. Later in the day, Mr and. Mrs Pattison left amidst showers of confetti and good wishes, on route for their honeymoon. The bride travelled in a light brown coatfrock and hat of geranium pink. She also Vore a fox fur, the gift of the bridegroom.
