ELECTION OF MEMBERS TO DOMAIN BiOARD. A public meeting was held in the Coronation Hall on Thursday evening, Mr J. Kennedy (Mayor of Geraldine) presiding over a very large attendance. Mr Kennedy said the meeting had been called to elect five members for the Domain Board, and that the members o;C the old Board had been revoked. He said he would be very pleased *o supply any information on the subject. Ten nominations were received to Jill the Jive vacant seats, and on a ballot being taken the following members were elected; —'Messrs Douglas William Stewart-, Henry John Brenton, Thomas Bates, Ernest Richard O’Neill and James Alexander Henderson. Mr Kennedy said the members would take their seat© when the Minister of Lands had gazetted their names. A vote of thanks was accorded to Mr Kennedy for presiding, to the members of the old Board, and to Mr W. Mason, who had not missed a meeting of the, old Board since its inception thirty-four years ago.
