THE “ASHES.” The Fifth Test match between England and Australia now proceeding at the Oval is exciting a great deal of interest in cricket circles, brought about mainly by the fact that it is to be *‘a fight to a finish.” The weather at the 'Tart was line and sunny, and the wicket easy.
