CLANDEBOYE.
COMPLIMENTARY SOCIAL. (From our own Correspondent). On Friday evening the residents of the district tendered a complimentary social in the Clandeboyc Hall, to. Miss Kyne and Mr D, Highet, who are soon to be married. There was a very large attendance, 'and a pleasant time was spent in dancing and games, interspersed with musical and elocu tionary items, After a bountiful supper provided by the ladies, Mr J. M. Craig, on behalf of their many friends and well-wishers, asked Miss Kyne and Mr Highet to accept a set of stainless cutlery; with it he would convey all good wishes for their future happiness. Those present showed their endorsement of the sentiments expressed by Mr Craig by rising and singing “For They Arc Jolly Good Fellows.” In responding. Mr Highet said he wished to thank them all very much indeed for the pleasant evening they had given them, for their handsome present, and for the good wishes expressed.
