GERALDINE »SUB-ASSOCIATION. COMPETITIONS CLOSED. A meeting of the Geraldine County Hockey sub-Association was held at Geraldine on Mondjay evening, when the season’s competitions werd declared closed. The Orari ladies won. the Association’s cup, joing through the season without defeat. Geraldine B. (Mr Voss’ team) was declared the winner of the men’s competition, and are the holders of the Tripp Cup for 19i2 6. Arrangements were made for the match, Canterbury Colts v. Geraldine County, which is being played at Geraldine to-day, and the following teatn Avas picked to represent the County: Forwards: W. Craig, C. Voss, A. Sharpe, G. LaAvry, A. Bryant. Halves: I. Schrader, 0. Butterfield, A. McKay. Backs: V. Fronting, C. RaAvstorn. Goal: D. Turner. Emergencies: E. LaAvry, G. Simes, C. Knight. Arrangements for the five and six-a-side tournament were held over for consideration at a full meeting. The representative ladies’ games County v. Canterbury 8., at Temuka, and Malvern v. County, at Geraldine, were held over until after the Invercargill tournament. The order of clubs in the ladies’ competition is not available.
