TEMUKA PICTURES. The picture to be submitted at Temuka to-night features Nazimova and Lou Tellegan, and deals with Joan (Nazimiova>, member of a band of Apache thieves in the Paris underworld. Resenting the attentions of Lupin (Lou Tellegan), their leader, leaves them, going to a cafe where a number of tourists see her dancing. - One of them becomes interested in her,, and she tells him she wants to be a lady. „He suggests things'that will help her. Later on jealous complications ■ set in, and there; are. some thrilling episodes before everything is again straightened out. " Some interesting scenes of Parisian underworld are shown, and the acting of the whole cast is excellent. The usual entertaining supporting pictures will also be screened. GERALDINE PICTUKES. Which would you prefer: luxury without love, or love though it meant poverty? This 'problem is the basis of Corinne Griffith's next picture, "Declasse," which comes to the Geraldine Municipal Theatre today. Lloyd Hughes is Miss Griffith's leading man, and Clive Brook and Louise Fazenda are others in the big cast. It tells the story of a beautiful London society woman, the victim of circumstance, forced into divorce through no fault of her own. The role is one perfectly suited to Miss Griffith's unusual talents and in it she gives more than -her usual fine performance. Supporting pictures include a two-reel Comedy, Scenic and latest English Gazette. "(The White Sister," the story of a woman's life in a convent, which is being screened to packed houses the world over, will be screened at Geraldine shortly.
