OBITUARY.
MRS K. MARSHALL. THE FUNERAL. A very old a: id highly respected resident of Tem.uka passed away at her residence In King street on Thursday, in 'the person of Mrs Ellen Marshall,; who died at the age of seventy-nine yeans. Her husband Mr James Marshall, predeceased her some years ago. The funeral took place yesterday afternoon, at. the Temuko Cemetery, when there was a very large attendance of relatives and friends, among them being many of the town’s old identities. The services both, at the Ihouse and at the graveside were conducted by the Rev. H. R. Fell, and the pall-bearers wave her two sons, John and Robert, and two grandsons, J. Bennett and J. Christopher. Among the many who sent wreaths were; Mrr and Mrs G. B. Cartwright; Grace, Edith and Myra; th e Bennett family; Mr and Mrs J. iS. Denniston; Uncle and Coutein; Nell, Jack and great grandchildren; the Bremner family; Mr and Mrs Bateman; tbo Bissett family. Marshwill, Timaru;! Elsie and Jim, and Mr and Mrs Sanders and family.
