Miss Ederle, a girl of fifteen years, swimming in a seventy-five-foot pool in New York, set five new world’s records, covering 500yds in 6min 15 l-ssec, 440yds in smin 54 3-ssec, 400yds in smin 22 2-ssec, and 300 yards in 39min 2 2-sscc.
