BOWLING.
GERALDINB CLUB. At. a meeting of the Committee of the Geraldine Bowling Club, it was reported that, the additions to the pavilion were nearly completed. The ProsidouL (Mr J. W. Miller) offered to paint, the roof, and Mr W. Henry donated tools, etc. Both offers were accepted with thanks. Mr R. Shillito wrote accepting the position of Club delegate to the Centre, which he said he would take ovor with more pleasure as it coincidod with the election of his old friend, .Mr Miller, to the presidency of the Club. Mr Thoreau, secretary to the Centre, wrote that entries for the Bristol Cup closed on October 7th. It was decided to send in a challenge Mr Henry gave details of a now scheme for competition**, which was adopted for all competitions, except the Campbell Cup, which will be played as in former years on the two-life system. It was resolved that Club colours be dark blue and gold with monogram on the pocket, and it was decided to accept the offer of a local lirm to stock them in various Hize».
